CONTROL TRIGGER BOX FOR THREE ACTUATORS

The trigger box is built to control three MICRO S electric actuators. Control is made through a dedicated keyboard that can be connected with a three-pole cable.
The keyboard and remote control input lets you simply connect up to 10 keyboards in parallel with distances ranging up to 50 meters.
The trigger box has a current absorption system for stopping the motors' movement. The limit switches' intervention threshold can be adjusted with a trimmer inside the box.
It is possible to connect up to 5 trigger boxes to each other to obtain the simultaneous control of several actuators through only one keyboard. This function is attained by simply connecting, in parallel, the three poles of the keyboard input of all the boxes and putting the switch in the MASTER (ON) mode for the first box and in the SLAVE (OFF) mode for all those that follow.
The control trigger box has an input for the rain sensors that permit automatic activation of the window frame's closing in the case that the sensor comes into contact with rainwater. This function can be activated or not for each individual output through 3 switches.

The serial keyboard has 9 keys that let you transmit the OPEN, STOP and CLOSE commands to the control trigger box. Up to 10 keyboards can be connected in parallel on the same line. The serial line uses a protocol that is very safe (cannot be duplicated) and that is highly reliable.

BATTERY UNIT / NiCd BATTERY CHARGER

The battery unit guarantees functioning of the system in its entirety even when power supply from the mains is absent. Under these conditions, 30 opening/closing movements are guaranteed. It is connected to the trigger box through a 2-pole, 1-mm section cable. The pilot lamp located on the printed circuit, when lit, shows that the battery unit is being recharged.

RAIN DETECTOR

The rain detector's function is to communicate the event to the trigger box. The trigger box should then automatically close the window frames in case of rain. For each motor, there is the possibility to activate or deactivate the automatic operation in combination with the rain sensor through the relative switches in the trigger box. To be activated, the sensor must actually be dampened and therefore must be installed in a position exposed to the rain.

POWER SUPPLY UNIT FOR A SINGLE ACTUATOR

The power supply unit permits motorization control from a local push button panel located near the frame that is to be operated. The remote control can be timed and can also come from a rain detector, wind detector or another type of detector which, when activated, determines the opening or closing of the frame. There are therefore two inputs for the controls, and one has priority on the other one. As a result, if the local control is abutted on the priority input, it will determine the opening or closing aside from whatever command arrives from the remote control, and vice versa. The opening or closing movement will take place when the corresponding key is kept pressed for the entire duration of the movement. The limit switch system is the current absorption type and the intervention value is adjustable between 300 and 900 mA (through a trimmer situated on the card close to the relays) so as to satisfy the various weight or friction conditions consistent with the users' safety.
